Yes. Your conversations, photos, and voice notes are private to your couple and encrypted in transit. AI features are opt-in per feature — none of your messages train AI models or are shared with advertisers.

Only when you opt in to a feature that needs context (Mediator, Weekly Story, Daily Spark). Even then, we send structured summaries (topics, sentiment), not raw text. You can toggle each AI feature off in Settings.

No. Amorelle is built for any couple — across the room or across the world. The features (chat, streaks, shared photos, quizzes, planning) work just as well when you live together.

You can pause or end the couple from Settings. Your individual content remains yours; shared content (album, letters, notes) becomes archived for both. Either of you can delete your account, which removes your messages permanently.

Religion is optional in your profile. You can pick from major traditions or 'spiritual / none / prefer not to say.' Faith-tagged content (advice, marriage planning, anniversary reminders) rolls out as we partner with contractors from each tradition.
