Amorelle is built on the premise that your relationship is yours. This page explains what we collect, what we don't, and how to control your data.
Data we collect
- Account info: email, optional name and birthday.
- Couple content: messages, photos, voice notes, letters, notes — encrypted in transit, accessible only to you and your partner.
- Device info: device model and OS for crash reports (via Sentry, anonymized).
- Optional analytics: Off by default. If you turn it on, we use PostHog with no cross-app tracking.
AI features
Every AI feature is opt-in, per feature. When enabled, only the minimum context needed is sent to our AI providers (Groq for fast inference, Anthropic Claude for safety-critical paths). We never:
- Train models on your messages.
- Sell or share your content with advertisers.
- Send raw chat history to LLMs unless you explicitly enable a feature that needs it.
Most AI features (Daily Spark, Weekly Story, Mediator) operate on structured summaries that the app generates locally — topic tags, sentiment, frequency — not message text.
Account deletion
You can delete your account from inside the app (Settings → Delete Account) or on the web. Deletion is permanent and cascades: your messages, photos, voice notes, and pairing are removed. Your partner sees that you've left.
